LC100: Laptop Computer Software
Laptop computers are fast becoming a standard in business circles for those who need to use computers. However, many people may not realize exactly how a laptop works, or more importantly, how to care for a laptop computer. A wide variety of topics are taught in this class including how to properly turn on and shut down a Windows-based laptop computer; how to create, edit, copy, move and delete files; and how to connect computers together to share information and other resources such as printers or an internet connection. Those who have some knowledge of computers will learn techniques to better utilize laptop computers, while those who are complete novices will also learn to use a laptop computer.

- Basic laptop usage (concentrating on using the touchpad and pointing stick style mice)

LC200: Laptop Computer Hardware
Laptop computers are fast becoming a standard in business circles for those who need to use computers. However, many people may not realize exactly how a laptop works, or more importantly, how to care for a laptop computer. This course is a continuation of Laptop Software 100 although it will concentrate on the hardware. A wide variety of topics are taught in this class including what the different hardware components of a laptop are and how to troubleshoot and repair laptop computers – potentially saving time and money in replacing the laptop or being on the phone with technical support for hours.
